This guitar is an homage to one of our favorite innovators in guitar building (Leo F) and one of our favorite innovators in guitar playing (Jerry Garcia). We started with a design from the godfather of electric guitar innovation and then we poured in some twists from Garcia's  early/mid 70's era guitars. We ended up with an incredibly versatile guitar that is just as happy playing a country tune as it is playing spaced out jazz-rock.  3 p90s, a 3-way switch, two volumes and a master tone control have been wired up to allow for 7 different pickup combinations and for endless variation when blending the pickups together using the volume knobs. A light tru-oil finish on the solid rosewood neck is both beautiful and incredibly easy to play. Never sticky. The rosewood pickup covers were made in our shop.
